Among other things, you’ll find that you’re not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behavior. You’re by no means alone on that score, you’ll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You’ll learn from them - if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. My video for my sculpture/ NG final. i installed it in a corner making a “wall” in the corner with the sheet that was used as the backdrop in the video. I then projected the video on both sides of the makeshift wall (in the corner) and played them simultaneously. directly in front of the sheet was a weight stand (like the ones in gyms…) where I placed four 1-gallon plaster milk jugs, four 1/2-gallon plaster milk jugs, and four pint sized gallon plastic milk jugs (all of which were made from molds of actual milk jugs).
My concept was a bit shallow, I thought. I talked about how people drink milk in order to build muscle, but in actuality, some argue that humans weren’t built to digest any sort of animal products…
In all honesty, I wanted something fun and humorous, and I wanted to prove to myself that I don’t need to spend a ton of money to make a cool piece of art.
Overall, I think it was a success! my class and teachers loved it :)
